A supermarket chain is now working with Tillypad

Shugyla, a minimarket chain in the South East of Kazakhstan, has been automated with Tillypad. Soft Park, Tillypad's dealer in Kazakhstan, has integrated two stores located in different towns into a single chain and synchronised data on one server.
In Shugyla, one can buy groceries and non-food products at almost the lowest price in the region. Thanks to a very small markup, these minimarkets always achieve a high turnover. Every day, revenue and profit reports arrive at the central office, and thanks to Tillypad, the management of the stores is always abreast of the current financial situation.
The tills in the minimarkets are equipped with barcode scanners and all-in-one PCs, on which Tillypad licences are installed. Customer service is carried out in Fast Food mode, and despite the constant high load, the tills operate flawlessly. Several independent scales where you can weigh your fruits and vegetables and print the price labels are installed within the shops. At the till, the cashier scans these labels, and all the data (code and weight) go straight into the till program.
Tillypad saves time both for customers and the accountant. Because of the constant tenge exchange rate fluctuations, the stock-in prices can vary significantly from one period to another. However, they are quickly updated through Tillypad.
The specialists of Soft Park, Tillypad's dealer in Kazakhstan, have developed a special module for managing the data collection terminal. The terminal works with barcodes and automatically generates stock-in and stocktaking records.
Aykyn Kalitov, Head of Soft Park's IT Department: 'To manage any possible incidents with both the employees and customers, we have installed IP cameras that work together with Tillypad on top of the tills. The data recording system can also match the video with the actions carried out on the POS terminal, thus providing the shops with a reliable protection against staff misuse and ensuring quick problem-solving in any dispute. For example, if the customer is in doubt about whether they received the correct amount of change, the administrator can check the receipt details against the cash that was actually handed out.'
