New Tillypad 9.7

Enhance your options with the latest version of Tillypad. Many much-anticipated delivery functions, a new back office interface design, revolutionary system architecture that will decrease server load, and other useful functions are all available in the new Tillypad 9.7.
New back office features
Tillypad continues to perfect its Manager. Not only have we changed its appearance to make it more appealing, but we have also added several new functions.
Cash flow
Tillypad 9.7 contains a new block of functions that will allow you to manage transactions with your partners, suppliers, and customers. Here you can view operations that are not related to stock control or goods distribution, as well as track cash flow for issued payrolls, paid fines and cash given out to employees for work-related tasks.
To account for incomes and expenses in your transactions with partners, suppliers and customers, you can create organisation accounts. To have a more detailed view of your expenses, you can create cash flow items.
Stock items with purchase prices
Tillypad 9.7 has a new menu option—Stock item with purchase price. Information about the purchase price and the store group for which it is calculated can be selected in the filters as you open the window.
Global change log
By using the new Global change log, you can view all operations related to creating, editing and deleting objects (including store records and specifications) in Tillypad XL Manager, on the POS terminal and in the Tillydroid app. This information can also be shown by employee who performed the operation.
New cash flow reports
The list of reports now includes reports on transactions with suppliers and employees.
New Delivery features
Customer order history
In all Delivery modes, you can now view order history of regular customers, as well as all changes made to these orders by call centre operators or restaurant employees. Using the order history, you can remind the customers what they ordered last time and determine their preferences to increase your upsales.
Editing open guest tabs in the call centre
You asked—we listened: It often happens that after an order is sent to the division, the customer decides to make changes to it or add additional items. Now the call centre can make changes to the guest tab that have already been assigned to the restaurants and that are already being processed onsite. The edited guest tab is marked with a special icon and appears at the top of the list. Then, the restaurant can view proposed changes and confirm them or reject this delivery.
Geocoding
When orders are processed in the call centre and sent to a restaurant to be executed, it is important to select a venue that whose location will provide an optimal route for the courier. To do so, the city is divided into delivery areas, which are assigned to specific divisions. The Yandex Geocoder allows you to determine to which delivery area a given delivery address belongs. It will calculate the distance and automatically select the nearest division for preparing and delivering the order.
Integration with the cloud-based UIS PBX
UIS PBX is indispensable for call centres that work with multiple phone lines. It determines the phone number dialled by the customer, which is important for monitoring incoming calls for multiple phone numbers.
Menu conceptions for delivery services
Imagine that your restaurant has several themes (e.g. sushi, pizza and European cuisine), and each theme is represented by a separate division with its own menu and possibly a separate phone number and website. By using conceptions, i.e. independent menu versions and restaurants responsible for preparing the dishes, the call centre can automatically send the order to a correct venue.
If the delivery service works with multiple themes, and each theme has a separate phone number, UIS PBX allows you to set up automatic conception selection during an incoming call.
Additional delivery parameters
In the System settings directory in the back office unit, specify any additional fields that you want to see in the delivery guest tab to include information about the order or customer specifically important for your restaurant. These new additional fields will appear in the delivery window on the POS terminal. This information can also be displayed on the receipt and guest tab.
 
Here are a few other useful functions—available in all delivery modes:
  • Now you can assign points to regular customers while taking their orders.
  • You can change the time necessary for preparing the order and delivering it on the POS terminal.
  • Orders made online on your website can be uploaded to POS. The guest tabs created based on online orders are registered as paid-for.
New features of the Tillydroid app
The Tillydroid app features two important updates.
New Stop list mode
By using this mode, you can remove items from sale if you run out of a stock item. The Stop list also allows you to specify the remaining number of portions of a dish. In this case, rather than being removed from sale immediately after being added to the stop list, the dish will become unavailable after all remaining portions are added to orders. You can configure Stop list settings both in the application and in the back office. However, the remaining portions can only be counted in the app.
Restricted Tillydroid operations log
Tillydroid now has the Restricted Tillydroid operations log, which allows you to view operations performed by the app users.
Data replication between domains
If you cannot create a local network or a VPN channel between servers, you can create a domain-domain structure between segments with a new replication model. This model has less server requirements; plus, it speeds up data exchange processes and allows you to go without domain database instances that were necessary in the earlier replication models.
 
All these new features will become available after you upgrade the system.
